Final pricing may change based on:

-Ground conditions
-Utility, sprinkler, drainage, or obstruction concerns
-Changes requested by the customer
-Permit, HOA, or code requirements
-Material price changes
-Scope changes discovered before or during work
-No work is guaranteed, scheduled, or authorized until both parties have agreed to the project terms, including scope, price, payment terms, and scheduling.

5. Scheduling and Project Timing

Veteran Fence Pros makes reasonable efforts to meet scheduled appointment times, project start dates, and completion timelines. However, scheduling may be affected by weather, material availability, labor availability, site conditions, permitting, customer delays, utility marking delays, equipment issues, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Project timelines are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate project information and ensuring reasonable access to the work area.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for:

-Identifying property lines
-Securing HOA approval, if required
-Notifying neighbors when appropriate
-Ensuring pets, children, and personal property are kept away from the work area
-Removing obstacles from the fence line or work area
-Informing Veteran Fence Pros of known underground utilities, sprinkler systems, drainage lines, private electrical lines, gas lines, internet lines, septic components, or other hidden conditions
-Ensuring someone with authority is available to approve changes when needed

Veteran Fence Pros may assist with certain items when agreed in writing, but the property owner remains responsible for final approval of property boundaries, HOA requirements, and private utility information.

7. Underground Utilities and Hidden Conditions

Veteran Fence Pros may request or recommend public utility markings before digging. Public utility marking services typically do not mark private lines, including but not limited to irrigation lines, pool lines, landscape lighting, private electrical lines, drainage systems, septic lines, invisible dog fences, or other privately installed systems.

Veteran Fence Pros is not responsible for damage to unmarked, improperly marked, privately installed, unknown, or undisclosed underground items unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.

8. Payments, Deposits, and Balances

Payment terms will be stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, or written agreement. We may require a deposit before materials are ordered or work is scheduled.

Final payment is due in accordance with the terms stated in the invoice or agreement. Late payments may result in delayed work, collection activity, additional fees, or other remedies allowed by law and by the written agreement between the parties.

9. Changes to Scope of Work

Any customer-requested changes to the agreed scope of work may result in additional charges, schedule changes, or revised terms.

Changes may include, but are not limited to:

-Additional linear footage
-Material upgrades
-Gate changes
-Post changes
-Height changes
-Layout changes
-Removal of additional materials
-Unexpected repairs
-Ground condition issues
-Customer-requested design changes

Veteran Fence Pros may require written approval before performing additional work.

10. Cancellations

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the project, materials ordered, scheduling, and work already performed. Deposits may be non-refundable in whole or in part if materials have been ordered, labor has been scheduled, administrative work has been performed, or other costs have been incurred.Specific cancellation terms may be included in the customer’s estimate, proposal, invoice, or project agreement.

11. Warranties and Workmanship

Any workmanship warranty or material warranty will be provided in the applicable estimate, invoice, written agreement, or warranty document.

Material warranties may be provided by the manufacturer or supplier and may be subject to separate terms, limitations, exclusions, and claim procedures.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranties may not cover damage caused by:
-Weather events
-Flooding
-High winds
-Ground movement
-Soil conditions
-Improper use
-Customer modifications
-Neglect or lack of maintenance
-Damage caused by animals, vehicles, equipment, landscapers, neighbors, tenants, or third parties
-Pre-existing conditions
-Unmarked underground systems
-Acts of God or events outside our control

12. Photos, Videos, and Project Documentation

Veteran Fence Pros may take photos or videos of project areas before, during, and after work for documentation, quality control, training, portfolio, marketing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We will make reasonable efforts to avoid disclosing sensitive personal information in public marketing materials. If you do not want your project photos or videos used for marketing, please notify us in writing.

13. Communications Consent
